Mightier than Type One : Well I did it. I managed to meet my first goal. I have to really up my game to complete this year, but this is the motivation I needed. If I take a step back from the big picture of helping to find a cure for T1D, I have daily reminders from people messaging that I am inspiring people to get out, face their fears, become healthier, make steps to being fitter. I'm overweight, a single parent to 2 young girls, one of whom is T1 diabetic. I'm T1 diabetic.
